  17. ten photos TIME has chosen as the most important news pictures
  18. in 150 years of photojournalism, and you can see them in a
  19. special collector's edition that appeared last week at
  20. newsstands around the country and in subscribers' mailboxes.
  21. From tens of thousands of images, special-projects editor Donald
  22. Morrison and his staff culled 91 in all, and finally chose ten
  23. that best define the art.

  25. <p>    The 76-page issue has a single advertiser, Eastman Kodak
  26. Co. To accompany the publication, TIME and Kodak have mounted
  27. a traveling exhibit of the photographs that premiered Oct. 20
  28. in Washington, where President Bush attended the opening hosted
  29. by U.S. Publisher Louis A. Weil III. The show moves on to New
  30. York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston through June 1990.
